A sneak peak of my piece for the new @BeehiveSociety art show: “The Beasts of Hogwarts”, taking place at Heron Arts in SF on Dec 10th at 6pm-10pm, in collaboration with 826 Valencia St; I designed this beast based on 9 year-old Hayden’s fantastic beast description, a lion named “Cuddles”. He’s sweet and cuddly, although his body is full of scales and his legs, full of spikes. He loves to eat carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers and grass by the pounds. When Cuddles loses his temper, he shows his sharp teeth and breathes fire! Hayden also included in his description that Cuddles hates chickens!
